How we work with employers? (part II) PDF Print

In the period 17th-18th and 24th -25th of October the EU-funded project “Strengthening Moldova’s capacity to manage labour and return migration” has organized two training sessions on how to work with employers for 30 employees of the National Employment Agency of Moldova.

These trainings are a continuation of the trainings organized previously and aim to set the basis of a good and efficient collaboration between employers and NEA by appointing 10 Key Accounts by the end of these activities.

The launch of NEA intranet PDF Print

On 29th of June, 2011 the EU financed project “Strengthening Moldova’s capacity to manage labour and return migration” in collaboration with the National Employment Agency has launched the Intranet for the employees of the agency.

By introducing the new channel of communication, Intranet, we aimed at making the work of employees more efficient, save time and offer quick access to useful and updated information linked to their day-to-day activity and labour market.

Migration tendencies and peculiarities of Moldovans PDF Print

In the period January- April 2011 the European Union project „Strengthening Moldova’s capacity to manage labour and return migration” in collaboration with the National Bureau of Statistics carried out a survey on the topic „Living and working legally in the European Union”.

The goal of the survey was to measure the level of knowledge and use of legal channels to migrate to one of the European Union’s country of Moldovan citizens who have the goal of living and working in EU and what are the conditions of staying/working in EU countries.

Lack of labour force as a result of migration PDF Print

Migration phenomena in Moldova exists already over 15 years. Although the same phenomena takes place in all countries, in Moldova, it has become of wide scope. At present, over 600.000 (unofficial figure) of Moldovans find themselves abroad (or app. 40% of the active labour force ), the majority of them working illegally. The main destination of Moldovans is EU countries, especially: Italy, France, Spain, Portugal and Germany.
